EXTOL Log Warehouse (ELW) supports the offline storage, reporting, and analysis of log data. It supports the retention of large volumes of log data for long periods of time, which helps eliminate the impact of reporting activity on your primary EBI Server.

ELW Provides for:

  • ELW allows you to run and maintain a leaner remote EBI Server due to a smaller amount of data required to store.
  • ELW reduces the required database and disk size.
  • ELW supports data retention requirements and good disaster recovery practices.

Note: ELW does not manipulate actual database tables on your Production remote EBI Server; it only selects data from its tables. When records are unarchived to the Log Warehouse server, only new records are inserted.
